Virtual Candle Meditation and Prayer Gathering: “The Gift of Light”
May 27 at 6:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
Pittsburgh Mercy Parish Nurse & Healthy Ministry is hosting a series of Candle Meditation and Prayer Gatherings titled “The Gift of Light.” It is an opportunity to experience spiritual awareness and group faith share through a virtual learning setting. All are invited to this quiet place and time to prayerfully reflect on our own whole-person health… balancing body, mind, and spirit. The emphasis is on the importance of self-care, connection with Creator, experience the provision of spiritual care, and peer support. In our busy lives, we sometimes feel overwhelmed to the point of neglecting our own spiritual needs. One aim with this virtual offering is to encourage a deeper spiritual awareness, experience, and articulation of Creator in our lives.
This offering is for parish nurses, faith community nurses, health ministers, lay ministers, clergy, registered nurses, health care professionals, licensed professional counselors, social workers, and anyone interested as we continue our commitment to advocating and educating others. These virtual offerings are free.
