Semi-Virtual 2020 Pittsburgh Recovery Walk
Addiction affects everyone. The good news is: so does recovery. Everyone whose life has been touched by addiction or recovery is invited to take part in the Semi-Virtual 2020 Pittsburgh Recovery Walk on Saturday, September 19, 2020. Here’s how!
FIRST: WALK THE WALK
What: Go on your own recovery walk and share photos/videos. You can post them on social media (tag @pghrecoverywalk and use #MyRoadPGH) or you can email your photos/videos to info@pghrecoverywalk.org.
Where: Choose a route that is personally significant or use one of the suggested routes on pghrecoverywalk.org.
When: We encourage you to walk on September 19, but feel free to do it before that, too.
Why: To honor your own journey, inspire others, and fight destructive stigma
How: Walk alone or with friends. Wear a recovery walk t-shirt or not. Choose your own adventure. But don’t forget to share your photos/videos to be included in the livestream event!
Registration is not required. To receive a free t-shirt in the mail you must Register Here.
THEN: TALK THE TALK
What: Tune into the livestream Recovery Walk event
Where: It will be streamed to Facebook Live, Instagram Live, Youtube Live, and pghrecoverywalk.org.
When: Saturday, September 19, 7 p.m. Eastern
Why: To see stories, photos, music, Recovery Award winners, and more! And because now more than ever, we need to share a message of hope and support.
How: Visit pghrecoverywalk.org at 7 p.m. and join the party!
