NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania hosts Stories That Heal Author Series

NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania is hosting a third season of the Stories That Heal author series in collaboration with City of Asylum Bookstore on Thursdays, April 25, May 30, and June 27, 2019, from 7 to 8 p.m. at 40 W. North Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15212 (North Side). Pittsburgh Mercy talent acquisition community engagement partner Kristine Irwin, is featured on April 25, speaking on behalf of her organization and book, both titled Voices of Hope, in which she details surviving being raped as a freshman in college, plus the pain that she, her family, and her friends endured and how they traveled the road to recovery together. On May 30, Corrine Jasmin, an author experiencing mental health issues is featured to discuss her first book of poems, Tread.  On June 27, Kristie Knights, a psychotherapist, podcaster, and founder of IRise Leadership Institute, will speak about her book, Unsung Heroes: Deconstructing Suicide Through Stories of Triumph.
