Health Ministry Virtual Meetings … Peer Support, Learning, & Conversation
October 20 at 7:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree
Pittsburgh Mercy Parish Nurse & Healthy Ministry Program is hosting a series of Heath Ministry Virtual Meetings … Peer Support, Learning, & Conversation. The goal is to emphasize the importance of networking, fellowship, learning, and peer support for faith community nurses and health minsters as they assist their congregations and local community to better health and well-being. Each monthly session will include themed discussion focused on the intentional care of the spirit, the promotion of whole-person health, the prevention of disease, creative ministry programming, and current challenges in ministry. A health ministry specialist will lead the discussion and invite participants to a brief learning activity such as a PowerPoint presentation, a video clip, a short article, or a case study.
These virtual offerings are at no cost and are intended for faith community nurses, health ministers, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, clergy/laity, and anyone interested in learning about the holistic care (whole-person health) approach as we commit to health advocacy and education of others.
Each offering is the 3rd Tuesday of the month and begins at 7:00 p.m. ET, lasting for one hour.
