7th Annual Lifesharing Conference-Day 2

The Pennsylvania Lifesharing Coalition will host its 7th Annual Lifesharing Conference, October 21-22, 2019, at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions, 250 Kalahari Boulevard, Pocono Manor, PA 18349.  Pittsburgh Mercy is proud to sponsor this year’s conference. The theme for this year’s conference is “Tons to Love About Lifesharing. Recipes for Success.”

The mission of the Lifesharing Coalition and conference committee is to bring awareness to families and persons interested in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. Lifesharing is an alternative living arrangement for persons who have an intellectual disabilities diagnosis. It is defined as sharing your home and supporting an individual in all aspects of life, including but not limited to maximizing physical, medical, and spiritual growth.

The conference is open to providers, families, and others interested in learning more about Lifesharing.  Joshua Lozoff will deliver the keynote address on Day 1 and Regis Lazor is the Plenary Speaker on Day 2. The conference also includes breakout presentations, the presentation of the Excellence in Lifesharing Awards, training hours, and much more.

Registration for the two-day conference is $150 and must be completed online.  The fee to attend only Monday, October 21 or only Tuesday, October 22 is $75.  Registration includes lunch and break snacks.  Only credit card payment will be accepted.  All attendees must pre-register online through Monday, September 30, 2019. Visit https://columbus.regfox.com/lifesharing-conference-2019 to register.  All breakout sessions must be selected and payment made in full to complete registration.
