13th Annual Richard C. Frech Celebration of Success

Pittsburgh Mercy will host the 13th Annual Richard C. Frech Celebration of Success on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Gaetano’s Event Center in Beechview to recognize and celebrate the many accomplishments of persons with developmental disabilities.

The annual luncheon and awards program is named in honor of the late Richard C. Frech, who advocated and worked tirelessly for persons with intellectual disabilities for more than 30 years. The individuals who will be honored exemplify how the principles of self-determination and the value of everyday lives, embraced by Frech throughout his life, empower people to lead fulfilling, inclusive lives within the communities that benefit from their contributions.

Participating organizations include: Achieva, Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh, Mainstay Life Services, Merakey, Mon Yough Community Services, Pittsburgh Mercy Intellectual Disabilities Services, Pressley Ridge, and Rankin Christian Center.

The event is “by invitation” and is sponsored by the Conference of Allegheny Providers.
